Woodrow Wilson High School is committed to developing exemplary programs and rigorous learning environments so that students become lifelong learners. The school has been redesigned with an enhanced curriculum that creates equity and access for all students. Four college preparatory academies are now offered.
The Academy of International Baccalaureate will equip students with the academic skills needed for university study and the values and life skills needed for intercultural understanding and living a purposeful life.
The Academy of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math will use project-based learning, hands-on activities, and research and design to strengthen students' innovative thinking and problem solving skills.
The Academy of Business, Finance, and Entrepreneurship will emphasize the logical order of establishing and growing a business. The academy will network with local firms to offer student internships and work sites.
The Academy of Performing Arts will emphasize individual artistic development and collaborative performances. It is our expectation that every student who graduates from Woodrow Wilson College Preparatory High School will earn between 12 and 24 college credit hours through dual-credit, Advanced Placement, and International Baccalaureate courses.
