  • 100 Days of School

    Our 100th day of school will be celebrated on Friday, February 5th. It is a pre-K through 1st grade tradition to celebrate it in grand style. We have many hands - on activities planned for the students to engage in on this special day.

  • 5th Grade Higher Education Parent Meeting

    Fifth grade teachers Nadine Waterman, Janet Medina, Tony McDonald, Suly Hilario each gave their spiel on important initiatives for their 5th graders. Science demo teacher Frederica Smith assisted the team by sharing her goals for filling in the gap from elementary to middle school with a Stem approach.

  • Spelling Bee

    Eladio R. Martinez Learning Center held its annual Spelling Bee this week. Left standing, the school champion, 5th grader Isaac Guevara and two other near-perfect spellers, alternates Jessica Lemus and Joaquin Maldonado. Fourth grade ELA teacher Sharon Andrews coordinated this event. Participating with the logistics included faculty and staff members: Rosa Linda Pena, principal, LaShawnda Moore, assistant principal, Zugey Garcia, 4th grade Bilingual teacher, and Beverly Harbin, media specialist.
