Ernie Banks, Hall of Fame baseball player and Booker T. Washington graduate, died Friday at 84. The one-time Harlem Globetrotter and recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom was the first player to ever have a jersey number retired by the Chicago Cubs. As one of our most notable and decorated alumni, the Booker T family celebrates his life and extends our condolences to his family.
