  • Don't Mess with Debate

    Congratulations to Pegasus debater Sadie Townsel, who single-handedly won three back-to-back rounds on Saturday to take the first-place 2015 Dallas Earth Day Debate championship trophy -- and a $600 scholarship. And congrats to JV debater Meggie Hunt, who helped Sadie qualify for Saturday's championship debate round. ALSO, the MacBook Sadie is working on was supplied by the BTW PTSA!   • BTW Sweeps Up at UIL!!

    On April 16 & 17, the Booker T Wind Ensemble earned 1st division ratings at UIL Concert and Sightreading competition. On April 17th, the Booker T JV and Varsity Orchestras earned 1st division ratings at the same contest. All our choral, wind and string music ensembles earned the highest ratings available at UIL competitions this year. Congratulations to Ms. Stephens, Mr. Large and Mr. Schnitzer for their leadership, and to all the music students in these ensembles for all their hard work!! ..............................................................................
