The Office of Family and Community Engagement invites you and your family to attend the Parent Resource and Empowerment Program (PREP) University Family Workshop Series. These workshops are FREE to all parents. PREP University workshops empower parents with strategies and resources to support children academically, emotionally and socially.
The workshop series begins in September and runs through May. See flyer available below for locations and schedule. Sessions will be offered in English, and Spanish interpretation services will be available. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the workshop to register. PREP University workshops are open to all families in the district, so choose the site that is closest to you and we'll see you there!
In addition to the weekday family workshop series, the Office of Family and Community Engagement in collaboration with schools in the high school feeder patterns offer PREP U Super Saturdays, fun and informational fairs for families. In addition to dozens of resource tables from community organizations, free health screenings and educational tables, these free events have games, giveaways, free food and refreshments, and student entertainment. Super Saturdays take place from 9 a.m. to noon and offer a great opportunity for families to spend a fun and educational day together. See below for upcoming Super Saturdays.
