All prekindergarten classes will follow the regular 7:55 a.m. to 2:55 p.m. class schedule.As you know, our district has the responsibility of serving eligible children based on the prekindergarten guidelines established by the Texas Education Agency. In order to be eligible for enrollment in a prekindergarten class, a child must be four years of age on September 1 of the current school year and:

All immigrant and refugee students new to district will be registered, oriented, and assessed at the Margaret and Gilbert Herrera Student Intake Center. Visit the Student Intake Center website to learn more.
The Dallas ISD and all schools use an automated phone message system to communicate with parents and staff about important news. Schools use the system to alert parents to school events, student absences, and other important information. To ensure that they do not miss any announcements from the schools or the district, parents should make sure that their children’s records include current contact information like phone number and address.
