The Dallas ISD Citizens Budget Review Commission, initially formed in the spring of 2011, is charged with making budget recommendations to the district’s administration. The commission is comprised of twelve individuals, nine of which are appointed by members of the board. The tenth appointee is named by the superintendent and chairs the meetings. There are two other representatives from the district, both of whom supervise school principals and help provide perspective to the commission.
