President
Jack Lowe joined TDIndustries in 1964. He became the CEO and board chair in 1980 and retired as CEO in December 2004. TDIndustries is a national mechanical and plumbing construction and facility service company, headquartered in Dallas. TDIndustries projects have included American Airlines Center, Cardinal Stadium in Phoenix, The Ballpark in Arlington, Dallas Convention Center, Texas Instruments semiconductor plants, and JCPenney headquarters.
Founded in 1946, TDIndustries has developed into one of America’s premier specialty contracting companies. For nine consecutive years the company has appeared in the FORTUNE magazine’s list of the 100 best companies to work for in America. Lowe attributes the trust that underpins their success to the employee-owned company’s “servant leader” philosophy, in which all 1,300 employees are partners. The company’s revenue for 2004 reached $250 million.
Lowe graduated Magna Cum Laude from Rice University with a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering and served in the U.S. Navy. He and his wife, Mary, have six grown children and six grandchildren.
