Middle School (6-8)

Beginning with the 2006-2007 school year, most sixth-graders are attending middle schools in their neighborhood. There, they participate in art, music, and theater arts programs. They also are able to perform with groups such as band, orchestra, and choir, where offered, as long as they are earning passing grades in all subjects. However, based on UIL rules and regulations, sixth-grade students will not be able to take part in UIL athletic events.
