  • 50 Bayles Student's Receive Ticket to Mavericks Game
3rd-5th graders at Bayles Elementary were challenged to work hard and raise their ACP scores by 10 points.  Students that achieved this challenge were put into a drawing to win one of 50 Maverick tickets, given by Eric Johnson - State Representative 100th district.  Students rose to the challenge by coming to "Saturday School", working extra on Reasoning Minds and always being "present" in class.  Thank you so much to both Eric Johnson and the Mavericks.  Way to go STUDENTS!!  You are Winners!

  •             Black History Program
    Black History Program
Bayles culminated Black History Month with a fabulous program put on by the 4th and 5th graders.  Students did a pantomime to "Rain Down on Me" by Kirk Franklin. They also sang "Take me to the King" by Tamela Mann. It was a great way to pay tribute to all the Black Americans that have contributed to today's society.  It also helped us remember, "Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that."
    Martin Luther King, Jr.
