Renovations to Schools
The $1.37 billion bond program is making it possible for nearly every school in the district to receive renovations and/or additions. Specifically, 146 elementary schools, 30 middle schools, 28 high schools and two facilities either have been or are being renovated. Renovations may include new or upgraded fire alarm and suppression systems, new or repaired roofs, electrical system and technology infrastructure upgrades, heating and cooling system upgrades, accessibility improvements, and many others.
