Arcadia Park Elementary School is a two-story, 90,500-square-foot building accommodating 650 students. Of modern design, but with a traditional red brick exterior, the school includes 33 classrooms, a computer lab, a science lab, a kitchen, a cafeteria, and a 400-seat auditorium. Adjacent to the school is Arcadia Park Branch Library, an 18,000-square-foot, one-story building with a small auditorium.

Arcadia Park

Named for its location on 14.5 acres at the north end of the Arcadia Park neighborhood in southwest Dallas, Arcadia Park Elementary School replaces an older school of the same name located two blocks away. The proximity of the new school and library represents an important and groundbreaking educational partnership between the city and the school district that benefits the whole community.
