Completed in the winter of 2004, renovations to W.W. Bushman Elementary School include Texas Accessibility Standards work to ramps and restrooms; critical mechanical, electrical, and plumbing improvements; and updates to the cafeteria, kitchen, and science and art classrooms. In addition, existing roofing, ceilings, and windows were repaired or replaced; a new fascia and storefront were added; and a new playground was installed. Upgrades were made to the fire alarm and suppression systems, media center, and technology infrastructure.
