John W. Carpenter Elementary School, located halfway between Kiest Park and Red Bird Park, received renovations to nearly 58,000 square feet of building area. The improvements included: roof repairs; window repairs and replacement; Americans with Disabilities Act work; and upgrades to fire alarm and suppression systems, technology infrastructure, and air conditioning system.
