A 14-classroom addition and a number of renovations to Leila P. Cowart Elementary School in southwest Dallas were completed in the spring of 2005. The renovations to the school included, but were not limited to: new roofing and windows; assorted repairs; upgrades to heating and air conditioning systems; and an 1,800-square-foot expansion of the existing lunchroom.
