Frederick Douglass Elementary School in southeast Dallas received renovations to nearly 47,000 square feet of building area, including: roof repairs; Americans with Disabilities Act work; and upgrades to fire alarm and suppression systems, technology infrastructure, and air conditioning system. The school also received an addition of about 27,000 square feet, which added 20 new classrooms, support spaces, and new restrooms.
