Renovations to J.N. Ervin Elementary School in South Dallas were completed in the summer of 2005. The upgrades and improvements to the school included: new fire alarm and suppression systems; heating and air conditioning system upgrades; extensive electrical system upgrades; technology infrastructure upgrades; minor interior modifications; repairs to selected doors; accessibility improvements; a new elevator; and roof repair.
