Fred F. Florence Middle School received renovations to nearly 131,000 square feet of building area. The improvements included: roof repairs; Americans with Disabilities Act work; upgrades to fire alarm and suppression systems, technology infrastructure, and boilers; science room upgrades; and an air conditioning system for the gym.
