Benjamin Franklin Middle School in North Dallas received an extensive addition that features 20 new classrooms, an assistant principal/clerk office, book storage room, technology/main distribution frame room, restrooms, mechanical/electrical rooms, and circulation areas. The addition extends from the existing two-story building and creates an alternate drop-off/pick-up point for the school. The school also received important renovation work, including a new fire suppression system, extensive electrical system upgrades, technology infrastructure upgrades, replacement of the steam boiler, and accessibility improvements.
