Herbert Marcus Elementary School near Marcus Park in northwest Dallas received renovations to nearly 53,500 square feet of building area, including: a new roof and new windows; Americans with Disabilities Act work; and upgrades to fire alarm and suppression systems, technology infrastructure, and air conditioning system. The school also received an addition of about 26,000 square feet, featuring 14 new classrooms and a media center.
