Ronald E. McNair Elementary School received renovations to nearly 58,000 square feet of building area, including: Americans with Disabilities Act work; upgrades to fire alarm and suppression systems and technology infrastructure; and air conditioning system upgrades to a portion of the school, including the kitchen and the gym. The school also gained a 17,000-square-foot addition featuring 12 new classrooms, an administration area (including a bookroom), student and adult restrooms, and maintenance and custodial spaces.
