Renovations to John J. Pershing Elementary School in North Dallas were completed in the winter of 2004 and included new heating and air conditioning systems, new fire alarm and suppression systems, and upgrades to the electrical system and technology infrastructure. In addition, the school's restrooms were renovated and Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant ramps and lifts were installed.
