John W. Runyon Elementary School received renovations to nearly 55,000 square feet of building area, including: Americans with Disabilities Act work; upgrades to fire alarm and suppression systems and technology infrastructure; replacement of lay-in ceilings; and a new air conditioning system. The school also received an addition of about 25,788 square feet, featuring 15 new classrooms and a media center.
