Renovations to San Jacinto Elementary School were completed in the spring of 2005 and included: critical mechanical, electrical and plumbing renovations to boiler and heating and air conditioning systems; upgrades to the electrical system, technology infrastructure, and fire suppression and alarm systems; roof repair; and modifications to ceilings and lighting fixtures. In addition, Texas Accessibility Standards work was conducted on ramps and restrooms, and a new elevator was installed. Outside the school, doors and windows were replaced, existing modular buildings were painted, and the parking area was expanded.
