    Rudes
                             Dear BTWHSPVA parents and
                             students,

                                     Happy Holidays!

As we approach the end of this semester, I'd like to start by expressing my appreciation for the hard work, dedication, and passionate commitment I have seen in both academics and the arts here at BTWHSPVA. When I speak of this, I am not just referring to the students - it is truly the collaboration between parents, faculty, our community partners AND our students that create this "perfect storm" of artistic excellence!

We've had an incredibly busy and productive few weeks since the middle of November. Our College Showcase was a resounding success with over 75 colleges and universities participating from all corners of the country. The master classes, guest speakers, and student performances were amazing - the college representatives that were joining us for the first time commented that our school was really unlike anything they had ever seen. Kudos to everyone for their time and preparation for another wonderful Showcase event!

Please review the semester exam schedule for next week. Our students will be released early Tuesday through Friday. Parents, please note that students are required to be on campus from 9:15 until early dismissal on exam days next Tuesday - Friday. I wanted to provide this clarification about our attendance policy during examinations. Thank you for your assistance with this.

As we move into 2015, I am reminded that we continue to "KEEP MOVING FORWARD" in our pursuit of moving from EXCELLENCE TO EMINENCE. There are many exciting plans in store for BTWHSPVA as we approach our 40th anniversary the following year!

I wish each and every one of you a safe, restful and happy holiday. Enjoy your Winter Break!

    Sincerely,

    Scott M. Rudes, Ph.D

    Principal
