Each year, the students, staff and families of Booker T. adopt families that are struggling for the holidays! This year we have adopted six families from a local DISD Elementary school. We have started the collection for our Booker T. Angels, and many of the needs have been met, but we are still in need of help from our BTW community!

We anticipated receiving the bulk of our items, as well as monetary donations, during the Reliant Lights event that was scheduled last Saturday. Unfortunately that event was canceled due to bad weather.
The cancelation of the event has put us way behind on donations for our Booker T. Angel Families.

If you can help, please click on the links in the newsletter!
If you are unable to go shopping for any of the items, but would still like to help, you can make a monetary donation or donate a gift card and the Student Council students can go shopping to purchase the gifts.

You can drop off items at school at anytime from now until December 12th.

On December 16th, buses will pick up the families and bring them to a holiday celebration at BTW. We have decorations, festivities, food and gifts. Please consider participating in this important event for our school to give back to our community.

**Any additional items or money we collect will be donated to Vogel Alcove's holiday donation drive

    for homeless children.
