  • Klein selected for SMU President's Scholar

    Sarah Klein, a senior music cluster student at Booker T., has been selected as a President's Scholar at SMU, where she will begin studying in the fall. Klein is one of only 25 students to receive the distinction out of over 8,000 applicants to receive full tuition and fees for four years and funds for an international study program.   • BTW Treble Choir to perform at TMEA 2016

    The Booker T Washington Treble Varsity Choir has just received an invitation to perform a featured concert at the Texas Music Educators Association convention in February 2016! Held in San Antonio, over 25,000 musicians and music educators attend concerts by selected school ensembles.   • BTW honored at DISD Trustee Meeting

    Booker T was recognized at the March 26th Board of Trustee meeting for receiving the Texas Medal of Arts from the Texas Cultural Trust.
