      daddy daughter dance Dunbar will host its annual "Daddy Daughter Dance" on Friday, February 13, 6:30-8:30 p.m.. There is a $12 donation for this fundraising event to benefit our Pearls & Lace Society.  Our female scholars will have the opportunity to enjoy the evening with the "special guy" in their life (Father, Uncle, Grandfather, Pastor, etc.).  Formal attire is required for the event.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Mrs. Horton, 972-794-6600. Click here for more information on this event.

    Give a book, swap a book!  Dunbar will celebrate International Book Giving Day on Friday, February 13, all day long.

    Hispanic Heritage Drawing Contest 2015  for Youth Ages 7-18
    Create a masterpiece for this year's theme: "Folktales and Myths of the Hispanic World". All entries must be received by March 7, 2015. For more info. contact the Dallas Library at 214-670-1671 or visit for a registration form.
