Research Overview

Evaluation and Accountability has researchers and evaluators whose training and skills span not only education but also advanced statistics, assessment, psychology of learning, program evaluation and many other areas. Scholarly publications and paper presentations at national and international conferences often result from our district-related work. Evaluation and Accountability within the Dallas Independent School District’s has received national and international recognition for its research and evaluation products.

In addition to producing its own research, the district supports researchers from universities and research institutions wishing to conduct studies within the district. The Dallas ISD’s Research Review Committee reviews each proposal to ensure that all studies abide by high quality and ethical standards and that results will benefit the district’s students and programs as well as education as a whole.
