Program Evaluation

Robert Mendro, Director

Program Evaluation provides evaluation services for all districtwide core academic and ancillary programs that support local and statewide educational initiatives. These programs include Title I, Magnets Schools, Learning Centers, Dual Language/ESL and AAS. Both quantitative and qualitative data analyses are used to provide stakeholders with information (evaluation reports) essential to making informed decisions about program effectiveness, curriculum development, and instructional modifications necessary to facilitate student achievement.

Special Projects Evaluation provides evaluation services for programs funded through federal and state competitive grants. Programs cover a wide range of services: early childhood, district initiatives, extended day and year, health services, and more. Staff members assist program managers in collecting data and submitting required reports to funding agencies as well as to district stakeholders. On-going evaluation, using both quantitative and qualitative methods, provides continuous feedback (evaluation reports) for improving programs and services.
