- CILC Content Dollar Bank - Approved Mini-grants only.
- Tandberg Connections Program - Limit 2 per semester. The secret to success for this program is to plan early and wisely. Check out the listings and register at the earliest possible date. Don't use a Tandberg Connections credit on a program that is free anyway, such as NASA.
Things to keep in mind
When choosing a content provider for your virtual field trip you should keep in mind the following:
- The length of the videoconference, and day/time restrictions
- The cost. Remember, ISDN is never "free".
- The type of connection, IP or ISDN (Schools will be required to pay any ISDN charges)
- The provider's policy should the event fail to "connect"
- The provider's cancellation policy
- The amount of interactivity available to students during the IVC
- The hands-on materials available to students for use before, during, or after IVC
