Learning.com This web site has online lessons for students in grades K-8 and requires a login and password.
Multimedia Archive This web site contains photographs and PDF documents from the Associated Press that teachers and students can use for educational purposes. All the photographs are top quality and include the information from the photographer who took the picture. Photographs range in time from the 1800’s to a few minutes ago. Access to this site has been purchased by our district and requires a login and password. This is an outstanding resource.

The next group of Websites do not require a password, and they have wonderful information.

Cyber Bee A collection of wonderful things, including "How To" lessons for teachers.
Education World A wonderful resource for a wide variety of things in education.
National Teacher Recruitment Clearinghouse A wonderful website with information on how to begin a successful career as a teacher.
US Department of Education Links for grants and resources across the United States.
Texas Education Agency This is a wonderful resource and includes an interactive map to locate school districts in Texas and links to their websites.
ABC Teach A wonderful wealth of resources that includes thematic units.
TEAMS Distance Learning This site has an Electronic Classroom section that is divided into grade levels with online lessons for the students. This site has lesson plans as well as a wide variety of resource material.
This site could be easy to pass up due to the amount of information on the main page. However, don’t pass this one by, look in all the areas.
50 States This site is great for teachers that are covering the fifty states in the United States.
Teacher’s Network This site has a little of everything, including lesson plans, grants, and a section for teachers new to the profession.
Discovery School: Kathy Schrock All of the Discovery School is a good site. However, the section maintained by Kathy Schrock has some excellent things for teachers.
State Board for Educator Certification This site is for individuals that are interested in beginning a career in education. It includes certification requirements and links to TxBESS (Texas Beginning Educator Support System).
Region 10: Educational Service Center This is the ESC that our school district uses. They are located in Richardson on the corner of Spring Valley and Abrams. It is worth your time to visit the service center if you have never been.
Federal Resources for Educational Excellence This site contains wonderful links that are divided by subject area.
WEB QUESTS A web quest is a lesson that requires the use of the Internet to obtain most if not all of the information. This site will lead you to links on some really good Web Quests in all subjects.
ESC 2: Web Quests This is Region 2’s Educational Service Center and contains Web Quests divided into subjects and grade levels.
