Welcome to the 2014-2015 school year . Below are some answers to some Frequently Asked Questions.
Did you miss your deadline?
If you missed your deadline, please submit your interest form and it will be kept on file until the initial Interest Form Process is completed. If any slots are available after completing the initial Interest Form Process, we will reach out to interested parents.
How will I be notified?
The school will mail out notification forms via U.S. Mail, and we will follow up via email or telephone to confirm the notification.
Are slots still available?
As of August 8th, all slots are full. You may still submit an interest form. If we have unexpected openings we will notify families.
What about enrollment dates?
Monday, August 18 – 12:30 to 4:30
Tuesday, August 19 – 8:00 to 12:00
Wednesday, August 20 – 2:00 to 7:00
Thursday, August 21 – 8:00 -12:00
What about uniforms?
Bottoms: Solid khaki, navy blue, or black for the bottom
Tops: White, navy blue or hunter green - Shirts, blouses, turtleneck, or polo-style shirts must have collars
Dress & Rompers: Navy blue, khaki or black
Shoes: No open toes or heels permitted.
Are back packs permitted?
Yes. No restrictions
What time is breakfast and lunch?
Breakfast is made available to all students in the classroom at 7:50 a.m.
Lunch is served in the cafeteria and also made available to all students. Students are permitted to bring their own lunch from home if preferred. Teachers will coordinate snacks with parents at the appropriate time.
Can I have lunch with my child?
Yes, but please help us in building independence within our student body. During the 4th week of school parents are welcomed to join the student for lunch during their designated time and day.
When and where do we drop off students?
Drop off begins at 7:30. Students should only be dropped off at the main entrance (near the school marquee). Students will be escorted by a staff member to the designated waiting area.Teachers pick up students at 7:45. If you choose to walk in your child , we ask that you please park in the parking lot and walk them in using the designated entrance (near the school marquee) . We will have a designated hug zone by the main office.
Where do we pick up students?
At 2:55 we dismiss students by the library (near the rotunda and flag pole). Teachers and teacher assistants will sign out students to parents. Please drive safely and remember that school zones prohibit the use of cell phone devices.
What a if I'm running late?
Please notify the front office immediately. At 3:10 all students are escorted back into the building. Any parents, arriving after 3:10 will need to pick up in the main office (using the entrance near the marquee) and asked to sign their child out.
