GradeSpeed.Net
The product saves the teachers’ valuable time allowing them to devote more time to their students and less to administrative tasks. Access to the district’s new electronic grade book application, GradeSpeed.NET, will be phased in based on the number of requests received from the schools. Principals are required to sign up their campus, name their campus GradeSpeed administrators, and ensure that the administrators receive training. Training on the use of the application will begin in November. Principals, please click this link http://inet.dallasisd.org/depts/mis/signup.cfm (you must be on the Dallas ISD network to access this link) to fill out the sign-up form. To signup for use of the GradeSpeed.NET product you will be asked: - School name
- Principal’s name
- Deployment phase in which your school would like to participate.
- Name your Campus GradeSpeed Administrators for the product (two to three people). We suggest it be a professional employee that has an understanding of technology. The person will be responsible to assist with passwords at your campus, do some basic training for the other teachers at your campus, and communicate with the district administrators on the product. We are using the train the trainer model.
- Your administrators’ training dates.
- Number of teachers expecting to use the product.
Once you have selected your preferred phase and supplied the required information we will follow up to confirm your requested start date. Refer all questions to GradeSpeedInfo@dallasisd.org. Click here for online tutorial: http://www.gradespeed.net/dallas.
