Our Core Belief

We believe that engaged parents and guardians impact a students academic and personal development.

Our Goal

The goal of the Parent Services Department is to increase parental and community awareness, equitable access, knowledge, involvement, and accountability.

Research indicates that students whose parents and guardians are involved in their education achieve higher grades, test scores and graduation rates; have better school attendance, increased motivation, better self-esteem, lower rates of suspension and truancy, decreased use of drugs and alcohol, and fewer instances of violent behavior and are move inclined to pursue higher education. (National PTA)

It is with the goal in mind of graduating students ready for college and the work force and having more parents and guardians involved in their children's education that the Parent and Family Services Department exists.
