Performance Pay Programs

• DEADLINE TO SUBMIT APPEAL FOR PERFORMANCE PAY PROGRAM IS NOV. 18

The deadline to submit an appeal for the 2008-2009 Performance Pay Program is Wednesday, Nov. 18. Employees who have submitted an appeal should periodically return to Oracle Employee Self-Service to check their status screen for updates on their appeal. The Performance Pay Program was a pilot program during the 2007-2008 school year with awards paid in December 2008. The program is available to most campus district wide for the 2008-2009 school year.

On June 25, 2009, the Dallas ISD Board of Trustees approved significant changes to the award amounts for this program. The new award schedule is as follows:

Other teachers and campus staff may earn awards based on the SEI (School Effectiveness Index).

*January 9, 2009 Update*

New information from the Department of Education, the funding source for this program, has required major changes to the program. Effective immediately, *non-instructional* staff members (office managers, administrative assistants, clerks, custodians, food service staff, nurses, nurse assistants, counselors, librarians, speech therapists, etc.) are *not* eligible to receive awards paid through the Teacher Incentive Fund. Eligible staff members are teachers (core and elective), teacher assistants, principals, assistant principals and associate principals only.
