LIBRARY CIRCULATION

Students in Kindergarten may check out one book at a time. Students in grades 1 through 5 may check out two books at a time. Books are checked out for a period of two weeks.

Students who have lost or overdue library books may not check out additional materials until their library account is clear.

ONLINE CATALOG

Anne Frank Elementary Library Public Access Catalog (PAC) is available online through any school or home computer by typing the word LIBRARY in the URL box of the DISD website: www.dallasisd.org or by clicking on our link: Anne Frank PAC.

This is a new feature this year! Students may peruse the listings, find a book, and request a hold on that book from home.

ACCELERATED READER

Our library has over 19,000 books, many of which are part of the school's Accelerated Reader (AR) program. Books that are part of the Accelerated Reader program have a blue label on the book spine for easy identification.

MULTI-CULTURAL CENTER

Housed inside the Anne Frank Elementary Library, the Multi-Cultural Center (operated by the Addison Rotary Club), is open daily for students, faculty, parents, and area residents. The center provides four internet accessible computers in 17 different languages and access to English skills software using Rosetta Stone.
