I am overjoyed by the fact that you have
chosen to learn more about Albert Sidney Johnston Elementary
School. The operative word for this year is "progress." We look forward to an unparalleled level of academic
achievement. In order to ensure that every student is
given the support needed to be successful, we have enhanced our extended day programs, technology, fine arts, and athletic
programs. We invite you to visit our information
website. The website has been developed to make certain that our parents
and partners are well informed and have a resource from which to
obtain viable and factual information as it pertains to the district and
campus goals, curriculum, activities, policies, and procedures.
Every child at Albert Sidney Johnston Elementary School is an important
"work in progress." We have a dynamic cadre of
teachers united to build strong foundations for every child enrolled on
our campus. Our staff hosts parent workshops in writing, reading,
math, science, and technology on a quarterly basis to ensure that our
parents are knowledgeable of curriculum and campus goals. We encourage you to meet our staff, review campus demographic
information, view calendars, assessment information, homework
aide resources, Albert Sidney Johnston tutoring schedules, and opportunities for student
co-curricular and extracurricular activity participation. We look forward to parental and community involvement
