Celestino Mauricio Soto Jr. Elementary School
Academic Curriculum and Awards
In addition to the core curriculum, students are given many
opportunities to explore their creativity in the school’s science lab and through music and art programs.
Our school offers all-day prekindergarten classes,
where students are prepared to enter elementary school
ready to read and learn.
After-school programs include basketball, soccer club, science club, karate, art club, a student newspaper, choir, and spirit club. Students will be given the opportunity to volunteer to assist with the Special Olympics in May. A student recognition banquet will be held at the end of each school year to celebrate student achievement and leadership. As part of the school’s parental involvement program, parents and volunteers meet and hold activities
monthly, and the school also offers adult English-as-a-Second Language classes.
