TAG Program
Mission Statement: To provide gifted students with a continuum of educational experiences from kindergarten
through twelfth grade and prepare all students to graduate
with the skills to become productive and responsible citizens.
What will your child do in the TAG program?
Students in the TAG program will participate in various
projects that are in compliance with grade level TEKS and
DISD Curriculum. Students will complete an independent
study on the topic of their choice based on the 9 kinds of research. Students will learn the basic structure of writing a
research report as well as surf the web for important resources, solve logic grid problems, analogies, and explore different cultures. Towards the end of the school year, students will have the opportunity to present their projects in front of their peers and teachers.
