About the

School of Education and Social Services (ESSM)

The School of Education and Social Services (SESS) is also referred to as the Education and Social Services Magnet (ESSM) and is located within the Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Center.

The mascot is the Fabulous Phoenix, and the School colors are Columbian and Sky Blue.

There are three “Clusters” within SESS: Child Related Professions (CRP), Social Services (SS) and Education (EDU.) each of which have teachers who specialize in their respective fields.

As entering Freshmen in SESS, each student is required to take Exploring Careers in Education, Social Services, and Child Related Professions with Mrs. R.
