Mission Statement
The English Department is committed to the development of the student's understanding of language literature and composition skills in order that they may become productive citizens in a global, technological, and multicultural society. In addition, the Department seeks to develop the student's appreciation for the privileges and obligations of living in a free democratic society in order that they may assume those ethical responsibilities and moral values which help to unify all people of the world.
