What: Advanced Placement Parent Academy

When: November 17th, 5:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m.

Why: College & Career Readiness

Advanced Placement is available to any student. Students relishing hard work, rigorous thinking, and challenging academics should enroll in AP courses. Students may enroll in the prerequisite courses beginning in 7th grade (Pre AP). Pre-AP courses are designed to meet the needs of highly motivated students. Students choosing to take these courses will be students who are taking courses as part of their Advanced Academic Services options in preparation for Advanced Placement courses.

Students with special interests, recognized achievement, and who have a desire to take a Pre-AP course for career preparation, college preparation, or personal growth are invited to include these courses in their high school plans and to discuss their interest with their counselor on
November 17th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
