During the Holiday Season, I am constantly reminded of the need for new beginnings. An old Chinese proverb states that the best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago - the second best time is NOW!
As we reflect upon the first semester and prepare for finals in January - NOW is the time to take inventory of where we are and where we would like to be. Please visit with your student about where they see themselves by the end of the year, when the graduate from high school and where they see themselves after college.
I hope each of you have a great Holiday Season and wish you the best as you and your student discuss what trees they are planting for January and beyond.
