Introduction
L.G. Pinkston High School is committed to offering a full array of learning options for all students, and its philosophic premise supports goals in intellectual development, self-realization, and personal health. The faculty and staff members believe that education should be geared, not only to the immediate needs of students but also to prepare students to be responsible and contributing citizens in a highly complex society.

As a four-year comprehensive high school, L.G. Pinkston places curricular emphasis upon the needs and interests of the individual student. Central to this philosophy must be the development of basic skills as well as critical thinking, integration of learning, and flexibility.

The school believes that a quality education dramatically increases the opportunities for an enriching and successful life; therefore, Pinkston High School is dedicated to providing the keys that will unlock as many doors as possible for each student.
