What is Robotics?

The Thomas Jefferson High School robotics team builds a robot, starting with sketches for robot design, measured drawings, creation of a display, making a t-shirt, creating an engineering process notebook, making brochures, creating logos, and working with one another to get the job done. In robotics you can meet new people, make new friends, and let your imagination go wild while creating the robot and all it's components. Each year there is a different theme to the competition, which will really get your mind reeling. It is also a good way to learn some engineering and work with machinery.

By working together, using peer analysis and always striving to do our best, we have created a new, advanced robot. We have also won first place in the 2009 Dallas B.E.S.T. competition! While you're in the neighborhood, take a look at our video on YouTube!
