TJ Orchestra

The Thomas Jefferson High School Orchestra provides students with the opportunity to play music in a performing group throughout their high school career. The instrumentation is standard for a string orchestra, including: violin, viola, cello, and bass. The goal of the orchestra is simply stated as: "Taking a student where they are, and moving them forward to reach their full potential." This is done in a fun and educational environment. The music performed includes music from both the classical literature to contemporary movie scores. TJ ChoirTJ Choir, under the direction of Dr. Larissa Kiefer, participates in many events throughout the year including concerts at Thomas Jefferson as well as competition throughout the area.
