in a special elective course designed to study and research the
Holocaust presented their projects in a student-led museum. This
year's museum focused on Spanish and Latin American connections
to the Holocaust. In this photo, a student explains the content

Superintendent
Michael Hinajosa came to Thomas Jefferson to have a dialogue with
staff from TJ and the schools in our feeder pattern. He talked about
the District's future and answered questions from teachers and staff.

| Students
in their senior year at Thomas Jefferson enjoy a range of activities
with their classmates. Recently, the senior class took a trip to
the Plaza of the Americas for a little ice skating. Seniors have
several more class activities coming this semester.

Just
in time for the holidays, the award winning Thomas Jefferson HS
Band put on a show, sharing holiday music with parents, families
and other TJ fans and boosters.

Students
from schools in our feeder pattern and their parents attended the
Jefferson Jamboree to learn all about the school they will all attend
in the future. Theresa-Sneed-Hardy's dance students performed a
remarkable version of Michael Jackson's Thriller.

| The
Fidelity Future Stage program recognizes excellence, so it is no
surprise that they selected the Thomas Jefferson Pride and Spirit
band as the recipient of new musical instruments. Two of our talented
musicians are seen here with a Fidelity representative and their
band directors.
