Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA)

What is PTA?What is PTA?

PTSA By-Laws

National PTA is the largest volunteer child advocacy organization in the United States. A not-for-profit association of parents, educators, students, and other citizens active in their schools and communities, PTA is a leader in reminding our nation of its obligations to children.

The PTSA at W. T. White belongs to the Parents, Teachers and Students of the school. It is our goal this year to welcome many new students and parent members to our meetings. The Board supports students attending the meetings. Each month, one to two student groups will make short presentations to the Board about their organization.

It is just as important, if not more important, to stay connected to your student's school during the high school years. Our PTSA Board does not sponsor as many activities as found at the elementary and middle school levels. It is the best place to connect to other parents and the administration which is vital to successful high school years.
Please join today. Click here for a Membership form (Microsoft Word document).

PTSA monthly meetings are generally held on the second Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Library (second floor of the school). Everyone is invited.
