Kid Info sorts its resources by curriculum topics (see, for example, the American history page), making it much easier to use. You can also link to its sister site, Teacher Tidbytes, which includes student/teacher tutorials and slide shows, and web-integrated lesson plans. Nice job -- and no ads!
A kid and his dad have built a useful list of homework helping websites. Winner of 90+ awards, this site deserves them. We'd give it a "10" on our list of 10 great homework sites. B.J. has "merged" with the Discovery Channel. You'll find his homework links and a biography of the young entrepreneur at Discovery.com.
An educational site for kids of all ages. Games, quizzes, homework help and more. Topics for games include Numbers, Words, Universe, Culture, Extras.
Discover Channel School has tools to help you study, games to challenge your mind, and tons of great clip art to use. In addition, there are nearly a dozen learning adventures that let you explore everything from Ancient Egypt to the Space Station.
Ask Jeeves for Kids is a fast, easy and kid-friendly way for kids to find answers to their questions online. Designed to be a fun destination site focused on learning and "edutainment," Ask Jeeves for Kids uses natural-language technology that allows kids to ask questions, such as "Why is the sky blue?" or "What's it like to live in space?" in the same way they would ask a parent, friend or teacher. The service combines human editorial judgment with filtering technology to enable kids to find both relevant and appropriate answers on the Web.
