ONLINE CATALOG
The J.L. Long Library Catalog can be accessed by using the following link: Online Catalog!
This is a new feature this year! Students
may peruse the listings, find a book, and request a hold
on that book from home.
To get to the hold request icon, click on the blue portion
of the book listing.
A hold request button will appear (sometimes rather slowly)
at the top of the screen.

ACCELERATED READER
The library has over 7,400 books that are part of the
school's Accelerated Reader (AR) Program.
PLEASE NOTE
that not all books found on the Renaissance Learning website
are part of our school program. For a book to be included
in the J. L. Long AR program, an AR quiz must first be purchased
from Renaissance Learning. We purchase AR quizzes that match
books in our school library collection. We continue to add
to our AR quiz collection as funds are available and as
new quizzes become available, but not all books in our library
are part of the AR program.
If a student wishes to read a book from the public library
or from their personal collection for their class AR credit,
they should first check with their AR teacher or the library
to see if it is part of the J.L. Long AR program.

Homework Helper has
links to Award Winning Book sites such as Caldecott, Newbery,
and Bluebonnet Awards.
