Programs and Activities

Special programs:
Students at César Chávez Learning Center are exposed to best practices in learning for life. We develop leaders by modeling strong work ethic practices, through effort-based instruction and academically rigorous lesson activities. The school culture focuses on learner standards – where students gain insight on their level of understanding with clear and high expectations on what is measured for growth. Our faculty and staff proudly sponsor various clubs, organizations, and activities which enhance student learning, collaboration, and team-building. These student groups are comprised of leaders who skillfully work and play together to achieve their highest potential. Successful models of “how it is done” have propelled our students in attaining top honors through Dallas SCORES and in soccer. We Recognize Our Reality through team effort by supporting our district’s mission, beliefs and goals. Parent and community partnerships are essential in providing nurturing support for struggling learners and enrichment opportunities for students expressing additional interest. Promoting student learners and leaders at César Chávez – our Destiny to Exemplary!
